I own a cmax 2004. I fitted a towbar and wiring.
I found out my caravan fridge didn't work, so I figured I did something wrong with the wiring. After some searching I found there is no power on the red cable behind the rear backpanel, that made me believe a fuse might be broken. I lost my ownersmanual so google directed me here.
On the forums I found topics telling me to check fuse F59 or F79. Did that but both are ok.
Im kinda out of options...if anyone has some good tips would be greatly appreciated.

Have you manage to determine that you have both battery live and ignition live at both the 12S plug fitted to the car and the 12S socket on the cable to the caravan as a start point
you could then check for continuity of the cables between the 12S plug and the wiring inside the van
inside the car it will depend where you made the battery live and ignition live connections to

this is the wiringkit I used.
ECS Electronics
click on the manual button and you get the installationguide in pdf
if you go to the last page of the pdf to section 11 you will see the connector/cable I connected to.
The "normal" 7 pole funtions work just fine (brake rearlights indicators etc)

Still strange there is no power on the cable option1. section 12a

Have you got 1 off 13 way plug or two off 7 pin (12N & 12S) and which side of the rear loadspace have you connected into?

13way
Its connected to the lefthandside.
The car is a lefthand drive so this might be the opposite of a righthanddriven car.(Its connected to the oppossite side of the cigarettelighter-side.)
Think it might be easiest to just connect it to the cigarettelighter, but still bothers me why there is no power on that cable its connceted to now.

the red wire is original fitment, it disappears in a big bundle of other cables. So it doesnt look like its added later

I found the "red wire" in the wiring diagrams attached and it ought to be F59 that covers power to that
I think you'll need to check the continuity of the red wire just in case there are problems with the fuse holder or the way the fuse itself is sitting in the holder
